Math Review Packets
This summer, we encourage you to continue to practice your mathematics at home by reviewing and completing the math packets below. Practicing math skills over the summer can keep the brain’s pathways for computation and mathematical vocabulary strong. While these will not be counted as a grade, they will help you keep your skills sharp so that you will be prepared and ready to hit the ground running in September.
You can also chose to use online programs such as Khan Academy to review and prepare for September. See the bottom of this page for available resources.
Have a great summer and we look foward to seeing you in September!
Online Practice
Math Practice through Khan Academy - Grades 3-12
Khan Academy is an outstanding resource for learning and reviewing mathematical concepts. Activities and lessons are supported with both video and written tutorials to help students with all learning styles to develop a deep understanding of the concepts. Practice is also mastery based, which means students only advance when they are ready, not when they “finish” the activity. The skills your child will develop over the summer will give them an incredible advantage this fall. Once logged in, you can chose any course to practice or review, or start with these "get-ready" programs:
