Community School

In 2017 McKinley was selected to become a Community School and became partners with Creative Connections, a Community Based Organization. Creative Connections is a youth development program founded in 2005 to meet the growing need for college and career readiness in New York City public schools. Our dynamic staff has more than twenty years of youth development experience and seamlessly and effectively implements in-class and after school programs in ourschool.

MIDDLE FUTURE CONNECTIONS

(College & Career Readiness Program)

Creative Connections offers a College and Career Readiness program during the school day to the entire 7th grade. This program runs all year and is integrated into the students schedule. The students will meet once a week with our success coaches. This program will help the students in the next school year and beyond!
