Graduation 2019!

June 25, 2019 ~ 11:30 am

MCU Park : 1904 Surf Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11224

Park is accessible via the D,F,N and Q Train.

All graduates are requested to arrive at the park no later than 10:45 am!

(Members of band, cheerleaders, voice, and crew will meet earlier.)

Boys should wear a dress shirt and tie under their gown.

Girls should wear a dress or slacks and a top under their gown.

All students should have dress shoes - no sneakers. However, please remember that you will be walking on a ball park with stairs and a grassy field. (Make sure you can walk in your shoes!)

Please make arrangements to meet your family outside of the ballpark after the ceremony.

For extra tickets, write a note to Ms. Nastasi, stating the name of the graduate, class and amount of tickets needed.

Event is rain or shine! Please be prepared...most of the stadium is outdoors.

Stem Information

On March 28th, Shallow Middle School hosted the 2019 District 20 STEAM Expo. They welcomed McKinley's Lego Robotics team to the celebration. Accompanied by Mrs. Barrett, Mrs. Lehrer, and Mrs. Rohman the team showcased the Into Orbit Lego Challenge. Students identified challenges humans must overcome to travel in our solar system for long periods of time and designed innovative solutions. Go Lego Robotics!

McKinley is proud to be one of the few middle schools in New York City offering a Virtual Enterprise Business Class. Students can apply at the end of 6th Grade.
