The McKinley Lego Lions are set to begin their second season in the First Lego League. This year's competition is themed "Hydro-Dynamics". The First Lego League is an opportunity for students to solve real world issues that impact the environment. In this year's competition, we will work to solve problems in the Human Water Cycle.

The task is broken into two categories:

1) Research and Development: Students will research an issue with the human water cycle, design, and communicate a solution.

2) Robotic Challenges: Students will create a simulated course using Lego Robotics EV3 Mindstorms Technology and compete at an event in the Spring (Date TBD).

This exciting opportunity gives students a chance to work with the Engineering Design Process, collaborate with others, and develop 21st Century skills for careers in technology.

If your child is interested in joining, please see Mr. Lombardo in room 130.
