On May 26, 2016 McKinley teacher Mrs. Fischer, along with 12 of her students from class 806, visited the Brooklyn Central Public Library. There, the students presented their project on Prospect Park to the Brooklyn Connections audience. They were a big hit with their musical model of a carousel, artistic book featuring different activities in the park, and their 3-D diorama of the park's landscape. They were all presented with certificates and applause. It was a very proud day. Hooray McKinleans!
